On the other hand, if you're craving even more power, you could upgrade to its ST trim level's 2.7L EcoBoost^Ò V6 Twin-Turbocharged, Direct-Injection Engine, which ups the ante by generating 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.  

So, can the Hyundai Santa Fe compete? Not really. Its standard 2.4L Inline 4-Cylinder engine barely manages to produce 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, while its optional 2.0L Inline 4-Cylinder Turbocharged version isn't really that much better at 235 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
