Ford F-150 Trim Levels

The Ford F-series is the best-selling line of pickup trucks in the world and has been for decades. It offers outstanding power and performance, solid technology, great comfort, and reliability that drivers across the Philadelphia, Warminster, and Doylestown areas have learned not just to appreciate, but to love.

Of course, part of the charm of any vehicle are the trim levels you get to customize. Let's take a look at the different 2019 Ford F-150 trim levels and learn not only what options and features are available at each, but where you can take a test drive.

Ford F-150 Trim Level Comparisons

Most of the 2019 Ford F-150 trim levels are the same as they were last year, but there are a few new features of which to take note. First, this year debuts a new engine option, a 3.0L diesel V6, that delivers 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. At the Limited and the Raptor trim levels, you get a standard 36-gallon fuel tank to reduce trips to the gas station. Finally, the base level trim now includes front collision warning and mitigation via emergency braking.

Yet, there are still six trim levels from which to choose. The base, entry level trim is the XL, which is followed by the XLT. At the middle of the range are the Lariat and King Ranch. Luxury-level trims include the Platinum and Limited, and there's an off-road Raptor variant.

F-150 XL

At the entry level, you get the F-150 XL, with a 3.3L V6 engine. Rear wheel drive is standard with 4WD optional. In addition to the new front crash warning and mitigation, you get features like rearview camera, automatic headlights, curve control, and dynamic hitch assistance.

F-150 XLT

Next up, the XLT level adds fog lights, full power accessories, and upgraded upholstery to the mix. You also get power-adjustable seats as well as the Ford SYNC® 3 infotainment system. It includes full smartphone app integration.

F-150 Lariat

Third up, the Lariat level adds a few luxury features to the lineup. It gives you a turbocharged V6 2.7L engine. Upgrades at this level include leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and cooled seats, and heated mirrors. You also get driver memory settings and power-adjustable pedals. LED box lighting and Class IV trailer hitch come at this level, as does push-button start.

F-150 King Ranch

At this level, you get a V8 5.0L engine and even more luxury features. Here you'll get full leather upholstery with heated back seats. This level gives you GPS navigation and voice commands, plus driver memory settings. Infotainment-wise you get satellite radio and a high-end Bang & Olufsen® sound system. Remote start, reverse sensors, and similar features help to round out the package.

F-150 Platinum

The Platinum level is a luxury-themed trim, which gives you some truly decadent features, including interior wood accents, LED spotlights around your mirrors, and power running boards. It also gives you safety features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Cross-Traffic Alerts, and inflatable seat belts.

F-150 Limited

The top-of-the-line trim has all the bells and whistles. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Warning with Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Keeping Assist. You also get even more power accessories and a twin-pane moonroof. You also get an even more powerful turbocharged 3.5L engine.

F-150 Raptor

The Raptor trim is an off-road trim which has the limited 3.5L engine, but comes with a reinforced frame and specialized 4WD system with modified suspension and shocks. Skid plates protect the underbody, and off-road tires provide outstanding traction.
