The new 2017 Ford F-250 pickup can haul and tow with the best of them, with this model year is seeing a major redesign. Its Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine, rough-and-tumble frame, and suspension are capable of outstanding towing and payload. Trim Levels and Options

It also comes in regular, extended, and crew cab styles, with choices of 6.75-foot or 8-foot beds. The base entry level trim comes with a range of features, including locking hubs on 4-wheel drive models, automatic headlights, towing mirrors, intermittent windshield wipers, 4-speaker audio system, 2.5-inch trailer hitch, split front and rear seats, dual gloveboxes, and overhead consoles. 

Stepping up a level delivers a range of true luxury options, including keyless entry, heated mirrors, power accessories, cruise control, alarm system, rear view camera, Ford Sync® infotainment system, USB ports, satellite radio tuners, LED lights (headlight, fog light and tail light), safety features like Blind-Spot Monitoring and Cross-Traffic Alerts, voice commands, navigation system, remote start, and more. 

Power and Safety

The base engine for the Ford F-250 is the familiar 6.2L V8, but it's been tweaked this year to put out 385 horsepower, and there's an upgraded 6.7L version which delivers a whopping 440 horsepower and 925 lb-ft of torque. It's driven by a 6-speed automatic and 4-wheel drive is an optional add-on. It can tow up to 18,000 pounds standard and has a payload of 3,450 pounds in the 4-wheel drive Crew Cab. 

Standard safety features, besides the expected anti-lock brakes and airbags, include the Ford MyKey monitoring and restrictions system, and options like rear view camera, surround-view 360-degree camera, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning and Mitigation, Lane Departure prevention systems, and more.
